Macbook Pro

I finally succumbed and bought myself a Macbook Pro laptop. Since then, I’ve been working through the challenges of replicating my Windows existence whilst taking advantage of the things that Apple do better. Thus far, I’d give it 9/10… but it has not been without its frustrations. The thing that finally pushed me over the edge was the woeful lack of support in myWindows video editing software for AV-CHD – the High Def video format used by my latest camcorder. iMovie, the software included with apple hardware includes support for this format ‘out of the box’. I have to say, this worked like a dream and iMovie is superb. Not as powerful as Premiere Pro which I use on Windows, but much quicker and more intuitive.
